We’re looking for a senior engineer to own Teza’s core infrastructure.
You will design and maintain the systems that support real-time pipelines, distributed services, monitoring, and high-throughput data flows.
This role is perfect for someone who loves building robust systems and wants major architectural influence.
📊 What you’ll spend your time on
- Architect scalable cloud infrastructure for high-throughput systems
- Build and maintain CI/CD, monitoring, and alerting frameworks
- Manage distributed queues (Pub/Sub, SQS, Redis, etc.)
- Own system observability (Prometheus, Grafana, logging)
- Ensure reliability through canary deployments, preview environments, service health checks and autoscaling strategies
- Own cloud networking, load balancing, and security policies
- Handle PostgreSQL scaling, replication, backups & recovery
- Develop infrastructure-level incident response and debugging
- Collaborate with backend, AI, and data science teams
👩💻 Capabilities
- 5+ years in backend infrastructure, distributed systems, or SRE roles
- Deep experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform (or equivalents)
- Experience with message queues (Pub/Sub, Kafka, SQS)
- Strong knowledge of monitoring/alerting
- Strong understanding of high-throughput services
- Experience with PostgreSQL operations
- Strong skills in debugging production issues
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in ad tech or real-time bidding
- Experience with Rust or high-performance services
- Experience with BigQuery / analytics infra
- Exposure to ML infrastructure
